Mississippi residents having access to healthcare is being described by some as “expanding welfare”, whatever that means. We believe that a healthy population “promotes the general welfare” of our state and this country. It’s the number one fundamental issue. When we are healthy, we can do anything. When we’re sick, there’s only one thing we want, and that’s to get healthy.Let’s support working families with Medicaid expansion, and mothers and children with more attention to their health.
