
The Gulf Coast League is an active and growing Local League including the counties of Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson. The Gulf Coast League meets to listen to speakers from the community, to study local issues, to develop policy positions, to advocate for League positions, and to conduct voter service projects. EMPOWERED CITIZENSHIP: A CALL TO ACTION

Our public education and fundraising luncheon, co-sponsored by the IP Casino Resort & Spa, will focus on Making Democracy Work! Stan Tiner joined The Sun Herald in May 2000 and helped lead the newspaper to become nationally recognized, winning the Pulitzer Prize Gold Medal for Public Service and coming in as finalists with colleagues Marie Harris and Tony Biffle for the Pulitzer for Editorial Writing in 2006.
The event is open to the public but seating is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door. You may reserve tickets ($25 per person) to be picked up at the door by mailing a check payable to MGCLWV to:
